Indonesia imposes anti-dumping duties on HRC alloy from China

On March 14, 2022, the Ministry of Finance of Indonesia issued No. 15/PMK.010/2022 rule and decided to impose an anti-dumping duty of 4.2%~50.2% on hot rolled coil of other alloy steel (HRC alloy) originating in China. The measures will take effect from the 21st day after the announcement and will be valid for five years. The product involved in the case is hot rolled coil of other alloy steel with boron content of 0.0008%~0.003% and/or titanium content of less than or equal to 0.025%, involving the products under Indonesian tax number ex7225.30.90.
On March 9, 2020, Indonesia launched an anti-dumping investigation on hot rolled coil of other alloy steel originating in China. On September 3, 2021, the Anti-dumping Commission of Indonesia made a positive final anti-dumping ruling on the products from China, suggesting that an anti-dumping duty of 7.2%~50.2% should be levied on the products involved.
