Huaneng Lancang River Hydropower to invest RMB5 billion to develop new energy projects in 2022

Huaneng Lancang River Hydropower disclosed its 2022 new energy business investment plan on March 9. In 2021, the company completed the new energy approval (filing) for 3.868 million kilowatts, and started construction for 990,000 kilowatts. In 2022, the company plans to invest RMB5 billion (USD791 million) to develop new energy projects, and plans to start 15 new projects with a planning installed capacity of 1.3 million kilowatts.
