On March 3, the Energy Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region issued a notice on printing and distributing the Renewable Energy Development of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region during 14th Five-Year Plan.
The plan pointed out that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the installed capacity of renewable energy in the autonomous region will reach more than 135GW, including 89GW of wind power and 45GW of photovoltaic power. The installed capacity of new energy will exceed that of coal-fired thermal power, and new energy will account for more than 35% of the total power generation capacity of the autonomous region . During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the newly installed capacity of renewable energy will exceed 80GW, accounting for more than 60% of the total newly installed capacity, and become the main force of the newly installed capacity . By 2030, the installed capacity of new energy in the autonomous region will exceed 200GW, and the total amount of new energy power will exceed that of thermal power.
