Shanxi Huashun New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.'s 60ktpy power Li-ion battery cathode material project goes into operation on February 26.
With a total investment of RMB3.5 billion (USD0.55 billion), the project is located in the chemical circular economy industrial park administrated by Jiexiu Development Zone with an area of about 500 mu (33.33 hectares). The project is divided into two phases. Phase one is the 60ktpy power Li-ion battery cathode material project with a total investment of RMB800 million (USD127 million) and phase two is the 6GWh high specific energy power Li-ion battery project with an investment of RMB2.7 billion (USD0.43 billion) in total.
