Longnan Fuxin Steel's electric arc furnace steelmaking capacity replacement capacity program made public

In accordance with relevant guidelines and implementation measures issued by the State Council, the steelmaking capacity replacement program of Longnan Fuxin Steel's electric arc furnace upgrade project was made public by Jiangxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology on February 28 for a period of 20 days.
The project will add two electric furnaces with a total steelmaking capacity of 1 million tons per annum (Mtpa) which are expected to go into operation in December 2024. The new furnaces will replace the existing three electric furnaces with a combined capacity of 1.5 Mtpa.
