Henan to insure annual coal production capacity stabilize at 140 million tons during 14th Five-Year Plan period

The "Modern Energy System and Carbon Neutralization Plan of Henan Province During the 14th Five-Year Plan Period" recently released by Henan Province proposes to promote the transformation of coal from total production capacity reduction to structural production capacity optimization, accelerate the construction of green mines, moderately develop advanced production capacity of advantageous coal type, continue to eliminate backward and inefficient production capacity, and classify and dispose of the mines below 300,000 ton/year to ensure that coal production capacity can be stable at around 140 million tons per year.
