Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the National Energy Administration (NEA) issued the implementation plan for the development of new energy storage during the 14th Five-year Plan period. The plan is put forward to promote the research and development of key technologies and equipment such as sodium ion batteries, new type lithium ion battery, lead-carbon batteries, flow batteries, compressed air, hydrogen (ammonia) energy storage, hot (cold) energy storage, etc.
