China Power Battery Alliance: China's power battery installment up by 86.9% YOY in Jan

On February 16, China Automobile Power Battery Industrial Innovate Alliance publicized China's power battery statistics in January 2022. Statistics show that in January China achieved a total power battery installment of 16.2GWh, up notably by 86.9% YOY and down by 38.3% MOM. In January, China's power battery production was 29.7GWh, up by 146.2% YOY and down by 6.2% MOM.
In January, China's LNCMO battery and LFP battery installment was 7.3GWh and 8.9GWh respectively, up by 35.2% and 172.7% YOY, and down by 34.0% and 41.0% MOM. Regarding production, in January China's LNCMO battery production was 10.8GWh, accounting for 36.5% of the total production, up by 57.9% YOY and down by 5.4% MOM; LFP battery production was 18.8GWh, accounting for 63.3% of the total, up by 261.8% YOY and down by 6.3% MOM.
