Mubang High-Tech to acquire Haoan Energy for RMB1.1 billion with PV silicon wafer and silicon rod business

Mubang High-Tech Co., Ltd. announced on February 15 that it plans to acquire 100% equity interest in Inner Mongolia Haoan Energy Technology Co., Ltd. in an all-cash transaction, with consideration of RMB1.1 billion (USD0.17 billion). After the transaction, which is expected to lead to a major asset restructuring, the company's major businesses will include research, development, production and sale of PV silicon wafers and silicon rods, thus helping the company accomplish leap-type diversified development with a multi-pillar product structure.
