CATL signs four-party agreement to accelerate exploration and development of lithium ore resources

Recently, CATL's subsidiary, Sichuan Contemporary Amperex New Energy Co., Ltd., signed a joint venture agreement in Chengdu with Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture Investment and Development Group Co., Ltd., Yibin Sanjiang Huida Company and Sichuan Tianfu Mining Company. According to the agreement, the four parties will, under the premise of complying with the national strategic mineral security requirements, conduct all-round cooperation, accelerate the exploration and development of lithium ore resources in Sichuan, increase lithium resources supply, boost comprehensive utilization in a scientific and orderly manner, stimulate coordinated development of the entire industry chain of new energy and supply important support for the development of trillion-grade power battery industry in Sichuan.
