On February 10th, China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and National Energy Administration (NEA) issued policies and measures to improve the mechanism for green and low-carbon transition of energy.
Firstly, China will improve the application standards for renewable energy in buildings. Specifically speaking, it will encourage photovoltaic-building integrated application, support the use of solar energy, geothermal energy, biomass energy and others to establish a renewable energy supply system for buildings. Secondly, China will formulate an energy supply system with clean and low-carbon energy as the mainstay. Thirdly, China will innovate the development and utilization mechanism of renewable energy in rural areas. Fourthly, China will form a synergetic innovation system for industry chain and supply chain of clean and low-carbon energy.
