LS Group cooperates with CNNC HUA YUAN Titanium Dioxide on nanometer LFP project

On the morning of January 19, the groundbreaking ceremony of the 1,500tpa nanometer LFP cathode material project jointly built by LS Group and CNNC HUA YUAN Titanium Dioxide Co., Ltd. was held in Baiyin city.
The project will use ferrous sulfate, a solid waste from the production of titanium dioxide by Donfon Titanium, as the raw material to produce LFP cathode material, adopting LS Zhongke Nanometer's core technology. This provides a new and reliable way for recycling lithium iron phosphate resources and also settles the issues that lead to low energy density, poor low-temperature performance, high production costs, etc.
