Brown fused alumina:
Because of the weak demand, most producers lowered their prices to promote sales in the first half of December, while in the second half of December most producers held their prices firm due to the stable production cost though the demand remains weak.
White fused alumina:
As the alumina prices kept moving down, most downstream consumers held watchful attitudes, so most producers lowered their prices to promote sales in the first half of December, while because of the stabilizing prices of alumina producers prefer to hold their prices firm in the second half of December.
