South Korean SK30GWh power battery project starts construction in Yancheng, Jiangsu

On the morning of January 17, a groundbreaking ceremony was held in Yancheng Economic Development Zone for South Korean SK30GWh power battery project. It is a foreign investment project with the highest investment of USD2.53 billion over recent years in Yancheng, Jiangsu province. Its main-part construction is expected to be completed by this December and equipment will be transported to site in next January. When it goes into operation, its annual sales amount is expected to reach RMB20 billion (USD3.15 billion), which will constitute sound support to local NEV industry.
