NBS: China's steel production up by 0.6% YOY in 2021

According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on January 17, from January to December 2021 China's steel production amounted to 1.34 billion tons in total, up by 0.6% on a year-to-year basis.
In December 2021, China's steel production was 110 million tons, up by 12.4% on a month-to-month basis and down by 5.2% year to year. Based upon the above statistics, the daily steel production in December 2021 was 3.66 million tons, up by 8.8% MOM.
