NBS: China's pig iron production down by 4.3% YOY in 2021

According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on January 17, China's pig iron output recorded 870 million tons from January December, down by 4.3% year-on-year.
In December, China produced 72.1 million tons of pig iron, an increase of 16.8% month-on-month and a decrease 5.4% year-on-year. The average daily output of pig iron in December was about 2.33 million tons, up by 13% from the previous month.
