Fengyuan Chemical to invest in building lithium battery high-energy cathode material and relative supporting project

Fengyuan Chemical announced on January 14th that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Fengyuan Lithium Energy, will invest in building a 200,000tpy lithium battery high-energy cathode material and relative supporting project in Yuxi, Yunnan in three phases. The phase one project of 50,000tpy LFP cathode material and 1,000tpy pilot production line of extracting lithium from clay will have a total investment of about RMB1 billion (USD157.40 million).
