China Three Gorges Corporation: Wind and solar power generation totals 35,300GWh in 2021

China Three Gorges Corporation announced on January 14 that its power generated by renewable resources exceeded 340,000GWh in 2021, up by 9.5% YOY and ranking first in the world. Of which, power generated by wind and solar energy totaled about 35,300GWh. The 340,000GWh of power is estimated to be equal to power generated by 100 million tons of standard coal, and would help cut carbon dioxide emission by nearly 280 million tons.
