Pakistan makes first anti-dumping sunset review final ruling on China-related cold-rolled coils/sheets

On January 7, 2022, the National Tariff Commission of Pakistan issued the latest announcement of Case No. 35/2015, making the first anti-dumping sunset review final affirmative ruling for cold rolled coils/sheets originating in or imported from China, and ruling that if the anti-dumping duties on the Chinese products involved in the case were cancelled, the dumping of the products involved and the substantial damage to Pakistan's domestic industry caused by the dumping would continue or recur, and decided to keep imposing 5-year anti-dumping duties (refer to the table below for tax rates) from January 13, 2021; at the same time, it is ruled that if the anti-dumping duties on the products involved in Ukraine were cancelled, the dumping of the products involved may not continue or occur again, so the anti-dumping duties on the products involved in Ukraine would be terminated
. The products involved are flat-rolled products of iron or non-alloy steel of a thickness ranging from 0 . 15mm to 3.00mm and a width up to 1,250mm, cold-rolled, not clad, plated or coated, of prime and secondary quality, of in rolls or slit to length sheets, excluding CR Coils/Sheets used in automotive outer skins of four wheeler vehicles of following auto grades .
