China Baowu Steel Group Corporation Limited revealed that on December 28, a construction commencement ceremony was held at Chizhou Qingyang Economic Development Zone, Anhui province for the Yangtze River Delta Baomei 300,000tpy high-performance Mg-base light alloy and deep processing project.
Co-invested by Baosteel Metal and Yunhai Special Metals, the project will cover a land area of about 2,200 Mu (about 147 hectares) and will be built with facilities for ore mining, processing, magnesium smelting, magnesium alloy processing, ore transportation passage, dock and matching service facilities.
