Junda Automotive Trim builds 16GW high-efficiency solar cell project in Anhui

On December 25, Hainan Junda Automotive Trim Co., Ltd. announced that Shangrao Jietai New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a holding subsidiary of the company, and the Management Committee of Anhui Laian Chahe Economic Development Zone signed the investment cooperation agreement for the project of high-efficiency solar cell production base on December 24, 2021 to construct a 16GW high-efficiency solar cell project, with a planned total investment of about 11.2 billion yuan (1.76 billion US dollars).
The project will be constructed in two phases. The first phase includes 8GW, with a planned total investment of about 5.6 billion yuan (879 million US dollars) and a planned land area of about 400mu. The total investment of the second phase is about 5.6 billion yuan (879 million US dollars) and the planned land is about 300mu.
