On December 8, the groundbreaking ceremony for Anhui Biopin's 28,000tpy lightweight aluminum sheet and strip, 3-billion-piece-per-year easy open end, and 6,000tpy battery-grade aluminum foil project was held at Lujiang High-tech New District.
With total investment of RMB510 million (USD80.17 million) from Anhui Biopin Industry, the project covers an area of 120mu (8 hectares) and focuses on the production of lightweight aluminum sheet and strip, carbon coated aluminum foil, aluminum easy open end materials and fished products. Upon completion, the project is expected to generate production value of RMB1.03 billion (USD162 million) and pay tax of RMB15 billion (USD2.39 million) annually.
