Stage one of Xitan power Li-battery project commences operation in Linfen

On November 22, Linfen Economic Development Zone witnessed construction completion and operation commencement of stage one of Xitan compound power Li-battery project, a province-level major project in Shanxi.
Xigu Energy Co., Ltd. under Linfen Economic Development Zone is operator of the project. It has a planned total investment of RMB2.28 billion (USD0.36 billion) and will be built at two stages. The just operating stage one has an annual 5GWh power Li-battery production capacity and also has PACK production lines, able to produce experiment lines and office facilities. When ramping up to nameplate capacity, it is expected to bring in an annual sales revenue of RMB600 million (USD93.94 million) and provide 260 employment opportunities.
