Ningxia issues off-peak production plan for winter and spring 2021-2022

The Department of Industry and Information Technology of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and the Department of Ecology and Environment recently issued a notice on implementing off-peak production for some industries during winter and spring 2021-2022.
According to the notice, the off-peak production will begin on December 1, 2021 and end on March 10, 2022. Industries that are required to carry out off-peak production include cement clinker, brick and tile (excluding those using coal ash and coal gangue as raw materials and natural gas as fuel and having met emission standards). Other industries like iron and steel, ferroalloy, calcium carbide, casting and coking are required to limit or suspend production based on their actual situation.
