Jiangxi tightens permit rules for projects with high energy use and emission

Jiangxi government recently issued an implementation opinion on tightening permit rules for projects that use large amounts of energy and have high carbon emissions, including projects with annual energy consumption of the equivalent of 5,000t of standard coal from eight industries, which include petrochemical, chemical engineering, coal chemical, iron and steel, coking, nonferrous metals, etc. The scope of these projects is adjusted dynamically according to national regulations and the actual situations.
