Australia's Port Hedland exports 452 million tons of iron ore to China in Jan-Oct

According to the latest data released by Pilbara Port Authority of Australia, in October 2021, the total iron ore exports through Port Hedland, the largest iron ore export Port in Western Australia, were about 46.70 million tons, up by about 220,300t or 0.47% YoY while down by about 286,300t or 0.61% MoM.
In October, the port exported about 39.10 million tons of iron ore to China, down by 1.57% YoY while up by 1.23% MoM. It accounted for 83.7% of its total export volume, and the share expanded by 1.5 percentage points MoM. From January to October, the port exported a total of about 375 million tons of iron ore to China, down by 4.66% YoY.
