    1 Market Highlights
    1.1 Prebaked anode

    In October, Chinese prebaked anode prices continued rising, as coal tar pitch prices went up and pet coke prices improved. In addition, part prebaked anode producers cut production for the power restriction.

    1.2 Pet coke

    From the middle of October, pet coke prices in China went down but the average price remained higher than the previous month.

    1.3 Graphite electrode

    After graphite electrode producers cut production, prices of graphite electrode in China went up quickly and the demand from Europe increased.

    1.4 CPC

    Prices of Chinese CPC went up in October, as the supply remained short.

    1.5 Coal tar pitch

    Prices of coal tar pitch in China moved up in October, as coal tar prices increased.
