BIPV project starts construction at Huneng Yingkou Thermal Power Plant

On October 15, a 5.7MW building integrated photovoltaic power (BIPV) generation project started construction at Huneng Yingkou Thermal Power Plant. Using idle land within the plant site, the project is expected to go into operation by the end of December 2021. When operational, it is expected to generate electricity of about 7.5 million kilowatts per year and save standard coal consumption by 2,376.25 tons.
