Supported by high cost, Chinese suppliers lifted prices of import manganese ore since early this month. Therefore, the prices of imported manganese ore increased this month.

Most suppliers increased their prices of silicomanganese 65/17 given the low operating rate in September caused by power restriction, the prices of silicomanganese 65/17 and silicomanganese 60/14 increased from last month.

Most suppliers lifted their quotations of Chinese HC ferromanganese supported by tight supply, so the prices went up from last month. And for Chinese MC ferromanganese and LC ferromanganese, most suppliers lifted their prices given high cos of raw materials, so the prices moved up this month.
