China's top five crude steel producing provinces cut output by 5 million tons MOM in Sep

The National Bureau of Statistics of China recently provided an update on the country's crude steel production by provinces in September 2021. Data showed that crude production totaled nearly 40 million tons in Hebei, Jiangsu, Shandong, Liaoning and Shanxi, the top five producing provinces in September, accounting for 54.2% of the national total, with a month-on-month growth of 0.2 percentage points. From January to September, these five provinces produced about 440 million tons of crude steel, accounting for 54.3% of the total production.
