Chinese stainless steel prices saw different trends during this month. Prices of 304 grade stainless CRC and HRC, 201 grade stainless CRC and HRC, 300 series stainless steel bar and 304 grade stainless seamless pipe in major markets of China witnessed an upward trend during this month mainly supported by the increase in steel mills' EXW prices, while those of 430 grade stainless CRC went down on soft demand. Since customers preferred to purchase materials upon orders, the sales performance remained unsatisfactory.
