Brown fused alumina: Due to the electricity restriction in Guizhou and Henan, part of the producers cut production or even halted production this month. On the other side, the prices of abrasive grade calcined bauxite increased. Therefore, most producers raised their prices supported by the increased production cost and shrunken supply.
White fused alumina: Owing to the electricity restriction in Henan and Shandong, part of the producers still remain in low operation rate and the market supply still remained tight. Plus that, the prices of alumina increased sharply. Therefore, most producers lifted their prices sharply.
