Mexico launches first anti-dumping sunset review against ferro-silico-manganese from India

On October 5, 2021, the Ministry of Economy of Mexico announced in the official gazette that, upon the application of a Mexican enterprise, it initiated the first sunset review of anti-dumping investigation against ferro-silico-manganese originating or imported from India. The dumping investigation period is from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021, and the injury investigation period is from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2021. The TIGIE tax codes of the products involved are 7202.30.01 and 9802.00.13. The current anti-dumping duty will remain in force during the investigation of the case. The announcement shall take effect the day after its promulgation.

On March 29, 2016, Mexico made a preliminary anti-dumping ruling on the case, imposing a provisional anti-dumping duty of 43.17% on the products involved. On October 18, 2016, Mexico made a final affirmative anti-dumping ruling and began to impose a 40.25% anti-dumping duty on the products involved.
