China's steel products imports down by 28.9% YOY in Jan-Sep

Latest data released by GACC indicated that China imported about 10.72 million tons of steel products in the first nine months of 2021, declining by 28.9% YOY. The imports amounted to about USD13.5 billion, up by 10.5% YOY.
In particular, China imported about 1.26 million tons of steel products in September 2021, dropping by 56.5% YOY while rising by 18.2% MOM. The imports amounted to about USD1.73 billion, down by 13.1% YOY while up by 12.8% MOM.
