Improving demand to bring increase in Japanese crude steel production in Q4

Japan's crude steel output is expected to rise year-on-year in Q4 2021 driven by the rebound in demand in industries such as car manufacturing and industrial machinery, according to METI. METI expects crude steel production to reach 24.11 million tons in the fourth quarter, up by 9.6% from a year earlier and 0.8% from the previous quarter.
