Starting from the beginning of 2021, Ping'an Iron and Steel Anyuan steel mill tried to lower iron melt consumption on the basis of 820kg/t by looking for gaps, improving processes, adjusting feedstock composition and taking other measures. In August, the mill's iron melt was reduced to 817.97kg/t, the best performance since 2016.
