In order to actively respond to the national supply side structural reform, unswervingly resolve excess capacity, accelerate the pace of structural adjustment, transformation and upgrading to achieve high-quality development and the goals of carbon oxide emission reduction, on September 20, 2021, all iron and steel production lines in the headquarters base of Anning company of Kunming Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (KISC) except pellets were successfully and permanently shut down, according to the requirements of environmental protection relocation and transformation of Kunming Iron and Steel Co., Ltd.
