Recently, TISCO successfully produced stainless steel and carbon steel asymmetric assembly require composite hot-rolled coil for the first time with its hot strip mill, filling a gap in the company's product mix.
Compared to single stainless steel or carbon steel products, stainless steel and carbon steel composite material, with characteristics of both types of steel, can meet requirements on high-strength and processing performance as carbon steel, perform well in corrosion resistance, wear resistance and aesthetics as stainless steel, cover the shortage of short service life resulting from poor corrosion resistance of carbon steel, and save chrome, nickel and other precious metals, so it is a new low-carbon and environment-friendly material delivering better price-performance ratio and higher efficiency with promising market prospects.
