Coal India's coal supply to power industry up by 11.4% YOY in Aug

According to the data from Indian Coal Ministry, in August, Coal India supplied 38.61 million tons of coal to the power industry, an increase of 11.4% YOY and 1% MOM. SCCL supplied 4.08 million tons of coal to the power industry, up by 72.9% YOY but down by 3.3% MOM.
By late August, Coal India held 49.65 million tons of coal in stocks, down from 55.52 million tons in late July and much lower than 62.9 million tons in the same period last year.
