The data from National Bureau of Statistics showed that China produced 730 million tons of crude steel in the first eight months of 2021, up by 5.3% year on year.
In August, China produced 83.24 million tons of crude steel, down by 4.1% MOM and by 13.2% year on year, and calculated an average daily output of about 2.69 million tons, down by 4.1% month on month.
