The data from National Bureau of Statistics showed that China produced 920 million tons of steel products in the first eight months of 2021, up by 7.3% year on year.
In August, China's output of steel products reached 110 million tons, down by 2.0% month on month and down by 10.1% year on year. The estimated daily output of steel products stood at 3.51 million tons in August, down by 2.0% compared to the prior month.
