1.Market Highlights
Discouraged by high inventory, Chinese suppliers decreased prices of import manganese ore. Therefore, the prices of imported manganese ore reduced this month.
Most suppliers increased their prices of silicomanganese 65/17 given that most consumers lifted their purchase prices in August supported by the tight supply, therefore, the prices of silicomanganese 65/17 increased from last month. Given the tight supply but weak demand, the prices of silicomanganese 60/14 stayed unchanged from last month.
Most suppliers lifted their quotations of Chinese HC ferromanganese supported by tight supply, so the prices went up from July. Given the strong demand and shortage of inventory, the prices of Chinese MC ferromanganese and LC ferromanganese moved up this month.
