The US Department of Commerce made preliminary determinations on countervailing and anti-dumping in the case on January 8, 2016 and March 14, 2016 respectively . On August 5, 2016, the U . S . Department of Commerce made an affirmative final anti-dumping determination on hot-rolled steel flat plates from Australia, Brazil, Japan, South Korea, the Netherlands, Turkey and the United Kingdom, and final affirmative countervailing determination on hot-rolled steel flat plates from Brazil, South Korea and Turkey . On October 3, 2016, the United States issued countervailing duty orders on the products involved in Brazil and South Korea, and anti-dumping duty orders on the products involved in Australia, Brazil, Japan, South Korea, the Netherlands, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
