Recently, Steel Pipe Company of Baotou Steel successfully produced 120 tons of bridge weathering seamless pipe Q345qDNH with the specification of Φ299mm×12mm, the first appearance of seamless pipe in weathering steel field.
As a low-alloy high-strength steel with good corrosion resistance performance in air, weathering steel outperforms common carbon steel by two to eight times in terms of air corrosion resistance and delivers better corrosion resistance performance as time passes by. Compared to stainless steel, the product is of lower production cost.
