Konka Group to wholly acquire Highstar Battery

On August 30, Shenzhen Konka announced that Konka Group plans to issue shares to purchase assets and to acquire 100% equity of Jiangsu Highstar Battery and Ganzhou Minggao Technology.
Highstar Battery, one of the targets in this deal, is one of the earliest and largest enterprises in the secondary chemical battery industry in China. Its main products include small secondary batteries such as cadmium nickel, nickel hydrogen and lithium ion, as well as battery plate, power management system, etc.
