China to release third batch of national copper, aluminum, zinc reserves

The National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration announced on August 27 that it will release the third of batch of 150,000t of national reserves into the market, including 30,000t of copper, 70,000t of aluminum and 50,000t of zinc.
The administration will make sure that the reserves be supplied to small and medium enterprises as much as possible to effectively ease their operation pressure, and at the same time, make market price return to a reasonable range. The public auction will begin on September 1.
