WBMS: Copper market in deficit of 222kt in Jan-Jun

The global copper market recorded a deficit of 222kt in January to June 2021 which followed a deficit of 890kt in the whole of 2020, according to data released by the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS).
Global copper consumption in June 2021 was about 2.37 million tonnes and that from Janaury to June was 12.27 million tonnes. Global copper output in June was nearly 2.06 million tons and that from January to June reported 12.05 million tonnes.
