Benxi Iron and Steel Group gets approval for 51% equities gratuitous transfer

On 19 August, Bengang Steel Plates Co., Ltd. released an announcement, noting that it recently received a notice from its indirect holding shareholder Benxi Iron and Steel Group. According to the notice, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Liaoning Provincial Government got the approval from the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and Liaoning provincial government for Ansteel's restructuring application regarding Benxi Iron and Steel Group. The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Liaoning Provincial Government will gratuitously transfer 51% equities of Benxi Iron and Steel Group to Ansteel Group.
