According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to July 2021, China produced a total of 650 million tons of crude steel, up by 8.0% YOY. The calculation based on the data showed that the average daily output of crude steel from January to July was about 3.06 million tons, a decrease of 49,000t or 1.6% from the average daily output from January to June.
In July, China produced 86.79 million tons of crude steel, down by 8.4% YOY and 7.6% MOM. The calculation based on the data showed that the average daily output of crude steel was 2.8 million tons, down by 10.5% MOM.
