Coal of India's e-bidding coal volume increases by 30% YOY in Apr-Jul

Recently, Coal India Ltd. announced that in the first four months of this fiscal year (April-July), Coal India's e-bidding coal sales recorded 35.5 million tons, a 28.6% increase from 27.6 million tons in the same period last year.
In the first quarter of this fiscal year, the company's e-bidding coal volume was 30.2 million tons, a 90% increase from the 15.9 million tons in the same period last year; net sales were INR47 billion (USD632.88 million), an 87% increase year-on-year.
The company said e-bidding coal sales in the non-power sector reached 11.8 million tons I April-July, up by 69% from the same period last year. During the same period, the company supplied 11 million tons of coal to power industry, up by 37.5% YOY.
In July, the company's e-bidding coal sales were 8.3 million tons, an increase of 2.5 million tons from June and a year-on-year increase of 9%. The number of auction bookings increased by 43% from the previous month.
